Crysis 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts which is to be released in late march this year. As you know, it will be powered by the incredibly powerful CryEngine 3 game engine.
The multyplayer demo became available January 25th, 2011 exclusively on the Xbox 360, for Gold members to download. The demo features the map Skyline, and two multiplayer game modes to play: Team Instant Action and Crash Site. Team Instant Action pits two teams against one another in a team deathmatch style, while Crash Site has players defending alien drop pods like control points.
As you might expect the youtube gaming community, more specifically the Call of Duty community tried the game out and shared their oppinions in the form of gameplay+commentary videos.

It's though to describe my experience with the first Crysis. Everybody was talking about it so I instaled it myself about 3 months after it came out. My computer handle it quite well on the medium quality settings, I'm not much of a graphics whore either. I played the game for two days before I had to format my hard-drive for unrelated reasons. Since then I have never got the chance to reinstall it as I was to busy and my interest in it kind of faded away.
The first game was awesome even though was a bit too much like FarCry. You got the island with the bad guys and aliens (which replaced the mutants for Farcry). The thing that changed everything was the nanosuit and the powers it provided for the player. Taking a korean with your bare hands and tossing him into his friends never got old. The game was quite fun and the setting was both a good place to show the world the power of the game's engine but also to jost roam around and do whatever you liked.
I'm afraid that the urban setting of this one will ruin the series atmosphere but the guys at Crytek sure look that they know what they are doing.
Overall I can't wait for the game, the multyplayer will be a blast, I'm just hoping the singleplayer is as awesome as usual.
